Intrastat

When Estonia joined the European Union on 1 May 2004 changed the collection of statistics on trade.

When up to year 2003 foreign trade statistics based on customs data collection in Estonia, the EU membership of Estonia brought Intrastat declarations to suppliers of goods. these declarations must be presented to the Statistical Office.

Intrastat report is for companies who exchange goods in the EU Member States.

The movement of goods inside the EU internal borders is not limited, and the Intrastat report replaces the customs declarations.

To draw up trade statistics of EU Member States, it is necessary to collect statistics directly from the goods consignors and consignees.

Intrastat reports must be filled by taxable companies whose goods turnover of the EU Member States exceeds  one million Estonian kroons (meaning the outgoing and incoming goods turnover separately and not the total trade turnover).

Intrastat report must be submitted to the Statistical Office on the following month's 10th working day from the Accounting month.

AR Agentuuri AS will draw Intrastat report and submit it to the Statistical  Office on behalf of your company.
